Orange County, February 2005

In February of 2005 we spent a week in Orange County, and snapped about 700 pictures (a light week for us). Most of those were family photos, though, so you don’t want to see those. But here I’ve pulled out some of the best scenic ones we took around Anaheim and Buena Park.

Sunset over Anaheim.

The Old Spaghetti Factory in Fullerton. This building was originally the Union Pacific Railroad Station, and in fact it’s so close to the rail line that your plates rattle when a freight train passes by.

Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort.

The entrance to Disney’s California Adventure.

Disneyland’s Main Entrance, seen across the “Esplanade”.

One of the fountains at Downtown Disney.

Downtown Disney again.

A palm tree daycare, where the baby palm trees are dropped off the in the morning while Mommy and Daddy are busy making coconuts.

After the rain come the snails. This is a big deal for us, since we don’t have snails here in the desert.
