Internet Bookmobile

This review of the Eldred arguments also starts out with a piece about a visit to Brewster Kahle’s Internet Bookmobile. This has got to be one of the most fabulous things I have heard of, ever. Travel the country in a van with an Internet connection, letting people download, print and bind public domain works. This is something that needs to be built into every library in every town across the country.

Brewster Kahle is a fucking genius, hands down. First the Internet Archive, now this; what’s next?
