We'll get a feed for the blog in the near future. We just added some new feeds for other sections of the Appeal.

And yes, it's been a little slow at the start. Trying to get the news staff to put on their blogger hats and post has been more difficult than I imagined, but I'm working on them.

The comments to stories have been picking up nicely, probably about 30 a day. Carson City may be ready for this stuff after all.

Do they have an RSS feed of the blog? I wasn't able to find it. But I was surprised and happy to see that they do have RSS feeds of the news items now. And the Record-Courier has them too! The Seattle Times and at least one of the local TV stations has that up here, but I didn't expect the Appeal (or especially the RC) to have feeds. That'll make it a little easier for me to keep up to date on what's happening "back home."
