Stars, Moon, and Clouds

I was getting out of the car tonight, and I saw this scene up in the sky. And since I have a camera that can actually capture images in low light now, I thought I’d whip out the tripod and see what I could do. I probably could get something better than this if I was willing to sit out there for hours and play around with the settings. I’ve had this camera for nearly four months and I still don’t know much about all the advanced modes. But I think it came out pretty well, if a little surreal.

Stars, Moon, and Clouds.

And I haven’t been posting a lot of pictures here, but I have been putting some up at my Flickr account and the Around Carson Photos page. If you’re really keen on following my photographic exploits, you should hang around those two places.

I consider that evidence of extra-terrestrial life. It looks like the mother ship. I would be willing to bet that there will be increased alien activity this evening.

Any coincidence of this happening the same night as the Oscars?
