And yes, “Computer Vet” is supposed to evoke the word veterinarian, as a subtle play on the term “Computer Doctor”.

Scott,
Just wanted to know how you like the new digital camera — a Canon Rebel XT, right?
I’m thinking about buying the XTi, but wanted to hear your review. I’m just itching for a new digital. I have a decent Nikon point-and-shoot, but it suffers from sloooooowness in the action shot department.
Thanks in advance!
P.S. Great baby pics. Doesn’t hurt that you’ve got photogenic offspring!
I love the camera. Of course I’ve never used another digital SLR, so I have nothing to compare it to. But I’ve been nothing but happy with the pictures I’ve taken so far, and the places I get frustrated (low light) I’m sure can be chalked up to me not knowing how to use the camera.
I wish I had gotten the XTi instead, but I haven’t missed the extra megapixels yet. Just having an SLR is so much better than a point and shoot. I feel so crippled when I have to go back.
Thanks for the info. Yes, I’ve noticed the low light issue even with my little Nikon digital. The flash goes off a lot! Your comment makes me wonder if that’s a weakness with all digitals.
Can’t wait to see some Carson Valley snow photos!
