Nevada Landmarks

I wrote at Around Carson today about Nevada-Landmarks.com, a site that catalogs all 266 of Nevada’s Historical Markers. Just like I wanted to do. Grrr.

I’m not sure if Paul may have mentioned this to you yet, but we just recently found out about landmark #267. It’s supposed to be up at the south entrance to Galena Creek Regional Park in Washoe County, right off of highway 431. It’s the one for the Galena Fish Hatchery there, but so far we haven’t been able to go up and see it. Apparently, the park is closed to the public for the time being, I’m guessing for road maintenance or something. Hopefully it’ll open back up soon and we’ll get a chance to capture one more marker!
